ASGA India (Ali & Sons' Games Arena India) was founded in 2024 by Zakir Ali, who currently serves as its President. Driven by respect for his ancestors and a commitment to social development, Zakir Ali established ASGA India to provide a platform for underprivileged youth to engage in sports and develop their sports skills.
The organization’s flagship event is the Lt. Ashik Ali Cricket Tournament.
Season 1 was held on 18th February 2024 at Azam Ali Hata,
Season 2 took place on 15th January 2025 at Northern Railway Stadium, Charbagh, Lucknow,
marking a significant milestone for ASGA India.
The tournament has become a festival-like celebration for the local community, eagerly anticipated each year.
Preparations for Season 3, scheduled for early 2026, have already begun. Zakir Ali hails from a family rooted in Hazratganj, Lucknow, representing the fourth generation. His great-grandfather, Late Mausam Ali, laid the foundation for the values and community spirit that ASGA India continues to uphold today.
ASGA India is built on values of discipline, integrity, and humanity, passed down through generations to empower youth through sports.
Inspiration of ASGA INDIA
Mr. Late Mausam Ali was the visionary behind the establishment of Ali & Sons and the inspiration for ASGA INDIA. A resident of Lucknow since the British era, he was not only an entrepreneur but also a skilled culinary expert. He was married to Mrs. Late Rasoolan. His guidance and principles continue to inspire future generations.
Former Govt. Employee & Social Humanitarian
Mr. Late Ashik Ali, Zakir Ji’s grandfather, was a dedicated government employee who retired in 1990 after years of exemplary service at the Government Mudranalaya Press Aishbagh, Lucknow. Beyond his professional career, he was a humanitarian who contributed significantly to the welfare of society. He was married to Mrs. Late Naimunnisha. Mr. Ashik Ali passed away on 24th December 1996. In his memory, the Lt. Ashik Ali Cricket Tournament is organized annually, honoring his legacy of service and compassion.
Former Machine Operator, Champion Cable (Retired)
Mr. Sabir Ali, son of Lt. Ashik Ali, was born in 1959 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Following the footsteps of his father, he displayed remarkable dedication throughout his professional and personal life. He served as a Machine Operator at Champion Cable for 35 years and retired in 2018. Married to Mrs. Saeeda, he now focuses on mentoring and guiding future generations, sharing his knowledge and expertise while residing at home.
Mr. Zakir Ali, Founder and President of ASGA India, is a dedicated leader whose journey reflects perseverance, self-discipline, and a strong commitment to social upliftment. Balancing education with professional responsibilities, he has consistently demonstrated the value of hard work, resilience, and lifelong learning.
Tigers Team was the champion of last Season-1. Tigers had won the series from 3-2. Both team’s player put the good effort for the team but Tigerss grab the trophy
Mohsin Hussain had won he man of the series award in season-1 & he also grab the highest runs award in this season. He was playing from the Tiger’s team and after winning these two award he proved that he is the real tiger.
Akshay Jaiswal won the highest wickets award in Season-1 and he was playing from the Tigers’s team.
Avengers Team was the champion of last Season-2. Avengers had won the series from 5-0. There had the lots of positive energy in the avengers and that was the biggest victory in the history.
Akshay Jaiswal is the senior player of the Tiger team. He has won the man of the series in season-2. He is the inspiration for the team.
Mohd Faisal had won the highest runs award in season-2. He is the attacker batsman. Now he will play from Power Hitter team.
Mohd Farhan had won the highest wickets award in season-2. He also take the hattrick of wicket in season-2. Now he will play from Power Hitter team.
